A Brain Injureds Perspective Pamela Akin
Alone I seem, most of the time.
My life I feel. is not even mine.
I guess that's the price, for being on the brink of death.
I wonder thoughtful, with every breath.
Is the escape really worthwhile, when it all goes on mile after mile///
'Alive I should be glad', but they don't
understand; there's more to life, than just being 'on hand'.
MY thoughts they, my psyche goes south; when I
want to say something that won't come out of my mouth.
Now as I sit here and ponder my life, I long for
the PAM that was-----it cuts like a knife.
I'll stand up strong and carry on, and GOD
GRANT me the strength, I'll deal with what lies beyond.
