Adam's TBI

Adam is 17 years old and was struck by a tractor trailor truck on Halloween (Oct 31) 2000. He had extensive trauma to his left side, and has TBI. After being in a coma and on life support, he spent another 5 weeks in the hospital and is now in outpatient therapy, (physical, speech and occupational) along with dr. appts. and counseling. He has a school tutor come into the home 7 hours a week. If anyone would like to email with Adam, his email is adamhackett01@hotmail.com. Adam Joshua Hackett died March 18, 2001. He had a siezure in the night sometime, and the medical examiner thinks something occurred with the TBI. He was only 17 yrs old, but I guess age has no bearing. He survived 4 1/2 months since his accident and changed and grew so much since that horrible night. I truelly feel he fulfilled his learning on this earth. My son was a shooting star, whose blaze was bright but short lived. May he fly free now.
